Business continuity plan
The Powerful Group Limited (“we”, “us”) runs Powerful Digital Marketing, Powerful Reviews and Powerful Tickets. This is a summary of how we keep delivering services to our clients if something disrupts our business, and how we restore any service that is interrupted.
Effective date: 27 October 2026
Our aim
We want to keep client work running through disruption, tell clients quickly when something affects them, and restore any interrupted service within the times set out below or agreed in a client’s contract.
Who this plan covers
This plan covers all services provided by Powerful Digital Marketing, Powerful Reviews and Powerful Tickets, and the people, systems and partners we rely on to deliver them.
How we prepare and respond
Loss of a key person, including the CEO. We will keep written procedures for our main services, and will give access to client accounts through named user access rather than one person’s login. A nominated deputy takes over and we tell affected clients the same working day. Target recovery: same working day.
Workplace unavailable. Our work is cloud-based and can be done remotely, so the team can keep working from home. Our registered office is at 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. We do not have an office where our team works: everyone works from home. Target recovery: immediate.
IT or cloud service outage. We use established cloud providers, multi-factor authentication and backups. If a device or service fails, we switch to a backup device or service and restore from backup. Target recovery: within 1 working day.
Cyber incident or data breach. We use multi-factor authentication, keep software up to date, use anti-malware protection and give people only the access they need. If an incident happens, we contain it, assess it, tell affected clients without undue delay, report it to the Information Commissioner’s Office within 72 hours where the law requires, and restore services. We will keep a short written incident response procedure setting out these steps.
Partner or supplier failure. Where we rely on partners for parts of a service, we will identify alternative partners, so we can switch if one fails. Target recovery: 5 working days.
Hosting failure for client websites or portals we host. Hosted sites are backed up daily through our hosting provider and can be restored if the platform fails. Target recovery time: within 1 working day. Maximum data loss: 24 hours.
Testing and review
This plan has not yet been tested. We will carry out the first test, a backup restore test and a desk exercise, by 27 January 2027, then test it at least once a year and update it after any real incident.
Andrew Todd, CEO, is responsible for this plan.
